As you are all probably aware, a herculean task has been underway the past whole year for collecting data from the several stake-holders in the field of dispute resolution. The effort is still on-going. However, some preliminary insights are now possible through the out-come of this global effort.

The organisers of the Global Pound Conference (GPC) are pleased to announce that the voting results to the Core Questions generated during the first 18 GPC events across 12 countries in Africa, the Americas, Asia, Europe and the Middle East are now available. More than 1,500 stakeholders involved in the prevention and resolution of commercial and civil disputes have shared their valuable votes to help learn from one-another about possible ways of shaping the future of dispute resolution and improving access to justice in the 21st Century.

The demographics – an initial data from at least 1,525 participants*:

  • 237 Parties/Users (16%)
  • 364 Advisors (24%) 
  • 248 Adjudicative Providers (16%)
  • 402 Non-Adjudicative Providers (26%)
  • 274 Influencers (18%)
